NOURISHING
This sacred water is cleansing and detoxifying. It is structured and possesses a naturally negative charge, making it an antioxidant with a verified exclusion zone. This means it has molecular order and is nourishing for cells.

WHAT MAKES STRUCTURED WATER DIFFERENT FROM ORDINARY WATER?
Structured water stands out from ordinary water due to its unique properties:
Molecular Order: Unlike the chaotic molecular structure of tap water, structured water has a lattice-like molecular arrangement.
Negative Charge: It possesses a natural negative charge and a negative oxidation-reduction potential (ORP).
Viscosity: Structured water is more viscous, giving it a plasma-like consistency with a soft viscosity that can be felt in the mouth.
Light Absorption: It has a greater capacity to absorb light and therefore energy.
Exclusion Zone (EZ): This water forms a negatively charged area along hydrophilic surfaces, like the mitochondria in cells, which excludes all solutes. This exclusion zone, or EZ, water pushes out positively charged bulk water, creating a natural battery-like effect. EZ water, also known as H3O2, contains an extra hydrogen and oxygen atom compared to regular water (H2O).
These features make structured water similar to the water found inside our cells. Source embodies all these characteristics.

Enhanced hydration is crucial during chemotherapy, with patients encouraged by the Cancer Foundation to drink 2-3 litres of water daily to minimise side effects. You can drink source at any time of day or night. However, in order to receive therapeutic benefits we recommend drinking source 30mins either side of meals, on an empty stomach.
Personally, we like to begin our day by drinking a few glasses of our water before consuming any food. This practice helps us kickstart the day on the right track.
We also make sure to fill our reusable water bottles, preventing any inconvenience throughout the day.

NATURALLY pH9.5
Source is drawn from an aquifer that contains the highest naturally-found alkaline water in the world.
Scientific studies have shown that water with a higher pH level is absorbed more efficiently, allowing it to move more easily through aquaporin channels and improve hydration.
There are commercial water brands that claim pH levels as high as 10, but these are not naturally generated and, as such, are not structured and stable. As well they rely on the quality of the water they have used within their production.
We have gone to the lengths of storing our water for 7+ years, then had it tested by third-party professional laboratories. The water test showed that the pH levels remained exactly the same due to its structured properties.
LEARNINGS FROM THE ENGINEERING TESTS ON OUR AQUIFER
The Source aquifer is not a 'well', which has a finite resource. It is instead a deep river of over 600 million litres which replenishes itself annually. Water not taken washes out to sea. Which makes our aquifer sustainable.
Our submersible pump is located to 147m deep and the total annual availability of the aquifer is calculated at 676,000m2.
Its high alkalinity is created by an ancient aquifer rock bed deep below the surface. Our water flows over sedimentary rock from the Miocene epoch, which dates back approximately 5 to 23 million years ago.
The specific Miocene-aged sedimentary rock found in our region is known for its diverse characteristics, including sandstone, siltstone, mudstone, conglomerate, limestone and volcanoclastic rock.
It is this unique rock bed that imparts Source with its high alkaline, therapeutic, and nourishing qualities.

Our Story
The aquifer bore-pump was originally installed to support a kiwi-fruit orchard. In the late 1980s, the orchard was removed, and the bore was then solely used for domestic purposes within the homestead.
In 2014, Ross and Shona Grundy acquired the property and sent the water for laboratory testing. To their astonishment, they discovered that the alkalinity was at pH9.5. However, they wanted to understand why it was so high and whether it was stable.
The Grundys consulted with local iwi (Māori indigenous to the area) and enlisted the professional services of Jacobs Engineering to conduct environmental tests, hydrologist research and testing. Satisfied about the quality and sustainability of the aquifer they commenced their Commercial Consent process.
One day, during the consenting process, Veda Austin (water researcher and author) showed up on their door step to ask: "Do you understand how special your water is?". "Yes", we said "It's very high alkaline"... her response was "Yes, it is. But that's not the special part...". She then proceeded to tell us about it's structured qualities and it's unique properties.
Water Experts
We work closely with water researcher, author and crystallographer Veda Austin who has over a decade of experience studying and photographing the qualitative aspects of water. Source is the very water that healed Veda after a devastating car accident that impacted her health for more than two decades.
Veda is also mentored by Dr Gerald Pollack, the world's leading water scientist and author of "The fourth phase of water"
